Sapphire™ Professional Home Whitening System
Fast, Safe and Effective
What causes tooth discoloration?
· Genetics - your mother's teeth were never very white
· Fluorosis -yellowing of teeth, white spots, and pitting or mottling of enamel contracted between the ages of 6 months to 5 years, from overexposure to fluoride.
· Medications such as tetracycline which can cause dark or gray coloration.
· Poor oral hygiene
· Aging (happens to all of us!)
· Smoking
· Certain foods or beverages (berries, tea, red wine)
What does tooth whitening involve?
This type of tooth whitening usually requires two visits. At the first appointment, impressions (molds) will be made of your teeth to fabricate custom, clear plastic, trays.
At your second appointment, you will try on the trays for proper fit, and adjustments will be made if necessary. The trays are worn with the Sapphire whitening solution for only 3 minutes twice daily until the desired level of whitening is reached.
You will receive care instructions for your teeth and trays, and be encouraged to visit us regularly to help maintain a beautiful, healthy, white smile.
Give us a call to day to schedule your first visit with one of our assistants and you'll be on your way to a brand new smile! Visit the Sapphire Website for more information.
